This blade is wickedly sharp, but was cursed when the bearer broke faith with Jesred and made covenant with the servants of the abyss.
This shortsword (d6/19-20) grants 3d6 sneak attack damage when enemies are vulnerable to it (this stacks with any sneak attack ability the holder might have). It can be reinforced with titanite. However if the player holding the sword rolls a natural 5 or lower when attacking he roll a will save (DC10+ their level) or instead attack an adjacent ally or himself (randomly determined). Everyone is considered flat-footed for the purposes of those attacks. Uncanny dodge cannot protect the wielder from these attacks, though it can protect his allies. The sword cannot be released once grasped without breaking its curse. It is found in a pool in the Gloom Garden.
